4. Brainstorming

Create a weekly schedule by downloading a Pixabay Example 1 Template as seen below, using up all 15 of the top 5’s items on your list, making some activities that are highest on your bucket list more regular or daily. Choose two items per day, or spread one or two items per day over two weeks rewarding with certain most loved or desired items as staples, like filmmaking or guitar playing and volunteering, or gardening, for example.

Sample “SEO Brainstorming” Chart

How to Brainstorm:

Start with a random idea, or a structured seed idea, for example: a guitar course design place the idea in the centre in a circle, in the moment without judgement let random thoughts related to the seed circled idea branch out from the central seed idea. If you do not like the results start again with a different or more targeted seed idea, remember do not judge your responses, just let them flow. Then gather the ideas that appeal to you most to use as your tools as part of your own strategy language and experiment with synonyms related to those ideas.

Positivity through Affirmations:

c) Manifesting with Vision Boarding

2015 Vision Board by Kerilie McDowall

This was the first vision board I ever made. Most often every item I put on a vision board comes into being, manifested within months or over a few years, time moves sometimes on its own accord. At the time I made the above vision board I did not have a house, had not made a short movie, had never done any TV, had not entertained the idea much of releasing an album, had not done any photography or camerawork, and had been helping the disabled and was working as a publicist at that time, and was not even working as music teacher, I had been on hiatus. Within 1-2 years all of these items had been realized and came to fruition. Just from making a vision board with intent and trying not to permit any blockages and remaining open.

d) Journalling your Intuitive Super Powers

Intuition as the Sixth Sense, Idea Development

When creating my 13x award-winning short film, In the Zone: Rick Kilburn, I followed my intuitive senses when putting the initial seed ideas together and when approaching potential subjects. Choosing and creating the planned shots as a director also stemmed from intuition, as well as working with my cameramen and their ideas. Learning from my mentor, I wanted to learn my lessons well. Teamwork for me was about enhancing the best of the actual each and every moment within television.

I would advise you to enhance and maximize the best of your moments, be they creative or business ideas, or mundane chores. This is the process of creative manifestation. Thinking and remaining open towards embracing. Like, “Now’s the Time.” ( A composition by jazz saxophonist Charlie Parker).

At times you will want to go with the moment when unexpected positive opportunities arise. Will it be a happy diversion, will it relate to your path and your vision, or is it worth the deviation and distraction or the potential delaying from your goal? Will it be an enhancement?

When creating my film I also asked: Which shots were the most emotional? Which edits would have impact, or just enjoy a sense of comfortable normalcy, or be representative of the positive and transcendence?
